Southern Indiana Politics: Sodrel / Hill - A tale of two cities?
Aside from obvious Liberal vs Conservative differences between Congressional candidates Mike Sodrel and Baron Hill, there are some glaring geographic differences as well. And they could make the difference in the election.
Hill’s obvious base is in Bloomington and the surrounding area. Sodrel’s strength is in Jeffersonville, New Albany and in the Louisville metroplex. In fact Hill has made VERY little effort to campaign in this area. He is essentially relying on people voting “straight ticket” to carry him to victory by getting “just enough” from Sodrel here.
Do you think LOCAL matters? So what do you think? We want to hear from you! Below is a poll…let your voice be heard!

I think issues matter most, that’s why I’m voting for Eric Schansberg. He is the only true conservative in the race according to independent taxpayer group ratings, and I’m very disappointed that he wasn’t included in your poll.
Greg, couldn’t agree with you more. Eric Schansberg is the best candidate by far and it is sad that more people don’t know about his platform of individual liberty and limited government. If there are Democrats out there that want the war to end but see that Hill isn’t willing to vote against it, they should vote for Schansberg. If there are Republicans who want a conservative who will actually work to reign in spending and unnecessary pork bills, they should vote Schansberg.
